BE REAL DO GOOD
Steve is a huge fan of Netflix, Playstation 4 and Instagram. He loves stories and embraces the ways in which technology enables people to communicate. At the University of Michigan, Steve studied digital media and video production. After graduation, he moved to LA where he worked with personal brands at Gersh Talent Agency and supported film development at Walden Media and Oddlot Entertainment. Today, he resides in Chicago and serves as Director of Marketing & Business Development for a leading OCM consulting firm. Steve started Be Real Do Good to support Midwest brands and to give back to his community. He believes that learning is a life-long journey and is currently evaluating business schools in hopes of earning an MBA.
T.J. hails from Detroit, Michigan, where his heart and his parents remain. His hobbies include podcasting, traveling and all things related to sports. His experience includes roles at Target, the Detroit Lions and Nike, Inc. T.J. has learned that storytelling is the best sales tool for communicating products and ideas. He also knows that behind these stories lie data, a new form of capital in today’s business world. T.J.’s time at large corporations helps him think with the big picture in mind. T.J. graduated from the University of Michigan, majoring in Business and Sports Management. He is currently in New York City and is an MBA Candidate at Columbia Business School. T.J.’s goal for Be Real Do Good is to connect companies with the communities they serve.
Matt loves to stay active and enjoys doing so with his dog Abby. At the University of Michigan, he studied American Cultures and earned his Bachelor of Arts. Matt went on to complete his second degree from Michigan, a Masters in Social Work. Since graduation, Matt has participated in several business investment projects and corporate re-brand initiatives. Today, he is Director of Strategy & Development for Wolverine Human Services, Michigan’s largest private child-welfare agency. Matt joined Be Real Do Good to help organizations develop and realize meaningful identities. He understands that each person, group and organization has its own audience and that, often, a fresh perspective can lead to improved outcomes.
